AssurCard’s role

The AssurCard is an additional benefit of your supplementary hospitalisation insurance. You can receive this card depending on the policy you take out.

The insurer is informed of your admission when you declare a hospitalisation via the AssurCard kiosk, the Internet or by telephone. After showing the AssurCard at the reception desk on the day of admission, the hospital confirms that you have been hospitalised to your insurer. Your insurer will inform your hospital in turn as to whether it will advance your bills or not.

• AssurCard looks after contacts between your insurance company and the hospital.

• We install and maintain the kiosks where you can submit your notification (if permitted by the hospital).

• We also provide the software application that allows you to register and transmit your notification.

• Finally, we support the hospital billing, so that everything can be sent to your insurer electronically.

Limiting administrative obligations

AssurCard does everything possible to alleviate your administrative obligations related to an admission.

• Your insurer and the hospital are informed more rapidly
• Your bill can be sent directly to the insurance company so that it can advance the costs.

This means you only have to worry about your health.
